Cyndi Wood

Cyndi was Playmate of the Month for February 1973. Her pictorial was titled Class Act.

Cyndi was born Sept. 25, 1950, in Burbank, CA. Her father, Harold, was a recording executive and her mother, Erma, was an actress. Cyndi attended both Los Angeles City College and Los Angeles Valley College as a music major but eventually switched to theater. She ultimately dropped out of college altogether in 1971.

Following her Playmate of the Month pictorial, Cyndi was named Playmate of the Year in 1974. She did a follow-up pictorial 10 years later in Playmates Forever! – Part Two in April 1984.

Cyndi made her film debut with a small role as a beauty shop customer in “Shampoo” (1975). She played Moon in the comedy “Van Nuys Blvd.” (1979) and was one of the dancing  Playmates in “Apocalypse Now” (1979). Cyndi also made guest appearances on the television shows “The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour” and “The Jim Stafford Show.”

She has worked as a casting agent for director Michael Lesner and has a Ph.D. in psychology.
