Daina House

Daina was Playmate of the Month for January 1976. Her pictorial was titled Decidedly Daina.

Daina was born Daina Lois House on Dec. 30, 1954, in Dallas, TX.

According to her website, Daina grew up in Texas and moved to California in 1973 to pursue a career in entertainment. Her success began in 1975 when she won The Most Beautiful Girl in California Contest.

Following her Playmate of the Month pictorial, she appeared in a number of mid-1970s television shows and a handful of movies. She continued to work for Playboy, as well. According to her website, Daina’s lifestyle  was one of “riches, men, alcohol, drugs, and anything else that would create an illusion of happiness. but deep down Daina was a very lonely broken person.”

Following the birth of her son, Tyler, in 1987, she found religion and later had a “born again” experience. She became an ordained minister in Van Nuys, CA. Dana taught Sunday school, did live stream and radio for her church, was a women’s ministry leader, and traveled around the country preaching.

She later worked for an insurance company. As of 2013, IMDB reports, she was a financial manager.
