Linda was Playmate of the Month for February 1970. Her pictorial was titled Lucky Linda.
Linda was born May 14, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ. She grew up in New Jersey with two older sisters. Her father was a physicist and her mother a retired schoolteacher. Linda was a finalist in the state Miss Teenage America pageant.
She was 19 at the time of her Playmate of the Month pictorial, according to the text accompanying the photos. However, according the the book “Bachelors and Bunnies: The Sexual Politics of Playboy,” Linda was only 17 when she modeled for the pictorial, but had the signed consent of her mother. The book reports her real name was Linda Allison of Weehawken, N.J.
According to “The Playmate Book: Five Decades of Centerfolds,” Linda used her modeling fee to finance studies in sociology at New York University.
Linda went on to marry an Army officer and raise two sons.
