Liv Lindeland

Liv was Playmate of the Month for January 1971. Her pictorial was titled There’s a Lot to Liv.

Liv was born Dec. 7, 1945, in Norway. She moved to the United States in 1965 and worked for four years as a fashion model in Boston. She moved to Los Angeles  in 1969.

Liv was the first Playmate to show clearly visible pubic hair. She was 25 at the time of her Playmate of the Month pictorial, and went on to become Playmate of the Year for 1972. She posed again for Playboy’s December 1979 pictorial, Playmates Forever!

Liv studied acting and speech at the Robert Arthur Workshop in Los Angeles, then went into acting (she is often credited as Liv Von Linden). She later had a career as a talent agent.

Liv is the daughter-in-law of actress-dancer Cyd Charisse.
