Patti McGuire

Patti was Playmate of the Month for November 1976. Her pictorial was titled Missouri Breaker.

Patti was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Dexter, MO. She grew up in St. Louis with her younger brother and two younger sisters. She was her high school’s homecoming queen.

Patti studied history and political science at Southern Illinois University. She worked as a Bunny at the Playboy Club in St. Louis. Her first appearance in Playboy was in the Bunnies of ’76 pictorial in October 1976. At the time, she also appeared in television and print advertisements.

Following her Playmate of the Month pictorial, Patti went on to become Playmate of the Year in 1977. She and fellow Playmate Hope Olson were close personal friends. They were part of the inner circle at Playboy Mansion West for a while in the late 1970s.

Patti married tennis player Jimmy Connors in October, 1978. According to “The Playmate Book: Five Decades of Centerfolds,” Patti met Conners at a party at Playboy Mansion West. In 1983, Patti filed for divorce, saying the couple’s marriage has been “irretrievably broken.” The couple later reconciled and have been together ever since. They have two children.

Patti  is featured on the back glass of the Playboy pinball machine, which was released at the end of 1978; she’s the brunette on the left of Hugh Hefner.
